as the national carrier and ambassador of Thai culture.

THAI AIRWAYS will reach its 50th anniversary in the year 2010.To celebrate this commemorative moment with all Thais, THAI AIRWAYS creates its calendar “ A Journey of Silk ”
telling the story of its journey as Thailand’s National Carrier from 1960.The calendar features THAI AIRWAYS’ destinations decorated with silk: a THAI AIRWAYS’ symbol,
in a graceful graphic style. The destinations featured are parts of THAI AIRWAYS growing network starting from May 1st, 1960 until now. The calendar is also a comprehensive archive
of THAI AIRWAYS’ 50 year history as Thailand’s National Carrier and one of the world class airlines.

The 2010 calendar also presents milestones in THAI’s 50 year history; the inaugural flight to Hong Kong, founding membership in Star Alliance, the largest airline
network in the world, and today Asia’s most comprehensive network and beyond to over 70 destinations.
